Schools in Hungary provide quality training to the students of the country. Children of Hungary generally start going to schools when they reach the age of 6 and it is mandatory to attend school until the age of 16. The first type of school that is attended by the Hungarians is the primary one, where the students can stay until they reach 14. However, a lot of students choose to leave primary schools earlier and enroll their names in the secondary school at the age of 10 or 12.
There are different types of Schools in Hungary. Among them, the primary aim of grammar schools is to train pupils for higher education, whereas, the secondary technical schools offer more practical education. On the other hand, the secondary vocational schools train the skilled workers with a 2 or 3 years schedule.
While talking about the Hungarian schools, it should be mentioned that the school session begins in September and ends in the month of June. During the Christmas and New Year time there is usually a two weeks' break and at Easter around one week holiday is given.
However, generally in primary and secondary schools no break is provided between the two terms.
