Budapest University of Technology & Economics is one of the most popular educational institutes of Hungary. Since a long time, this
Budapest University of Technology & Economics is treated as the most significant Hungarian university of technology. In the year of 1782, Emperor Joseph II established the university. Afterwards, in 1871, the university was reorganized as Royal Joseph Technical University.
Again, in 1934, this famous Hungarian university underwent alterations and it was reorganized as Palatine Joseph University of Technology and Economics.
It is assumed that the Hungarian Revolution (1956) was partly set in motion by the students and professors of the Technical University. Mainly the two technical universities of Budapest joined together in 1967 in order to form the Budapest Technical University along with 6 faculties. Moreover, the most updated stock of machinery and instruments were also introduced in the university.
