In the 19th century, Hungary saw some of the prominent classical music composers make their mark in music. Their compositions are still cherished today in spite of emergence of many other genre of music. Among the music composers in classical music, the name of Franz Linszt comes foremost.
Linszt experimented by blending Gypsy music of Hungary with classical trends. This amalgamation was known as Hungarian Rhapsodies. Budapest Music Academy was founded by Franz Linszt. This music academy became very famous. It influenced the later musical trends to a great extent.
