Tisza Hotel is situated in the heart of the Szeged city, on Szechenyi Square, housed in a 120-year old building. The Tisza Hotel is one of the most luxurious and affordable hotels in the Szeged region. The Tisza Hotel was built in the year 1885 with the designs made by Lipot Krausz and Nandor Jirasek. The hotel was named ‘Tisza’, in honor of President Kalman Tisza. The hotel was closed in the year 1949, but after renovation, it was again reopened in the year 1963.
The Tisza Hotel of Szeged has 50 well-furnished rooms. The rooms are further divided into three categories classic rooms, suite, superior rooms and rooms with shower. The superior room and suites have colonial style furniture, bathtubs, air-conditioners and mattresses. Others rooms do not have these facilities and are only equipped with the minimal furniture. The other facilities provided at the hotel include fax, drink bar, Internet, massage and solarium. The Tisza hotel, Szeged has 6 conference halls, which provide the best ambience, video-projector, TV set, slide and overhead projector.
On an average a single room with shower would cost 43 Euro, classic single room would cost 62 Euro and superior single room would cost 76 Euro.
