Greenland is the biggest island of the world. There are several modes of transport available to traverse this island but the bus service is still in its developmental phase. Greenland bus service is being improved to provide better transportation facilities to the people.
The roads of Greenland are being rebuilt in order to support the smooth running of the buses. At present times most of the transportation between towns takes place either by sea or by airways. The uneven surfaces of roads makes it is very difficult to drive buses smoothly in Greenland. The visitors who travel in the Greenland's bus get very tired because of uncomfortable journey which they face owing to the bad conditions of the road.
For general transportation, ships are the most popular modes in Greenland. Second to marine transport are the airlines. There are all total 14 airports in Greenland among which 9 airports have paved runways and 5 airports have unpaved runways. For the airways Transportation of Greenland Kangerlussuaq Airport is the largest International airport of Greenland. This is the only airport which has the largest runway.
At present bus services are available from Tabuk to Manila. The Greenland Bus also plies from Tabuk to Baguio. Measures are being taken by the transportation department to start more routes for bus services in Greenland so that people have another option for traveling.
