youth program has been put up by the Greenland Volunteer Fire Department.
The Siniffik Inn is one of Greenland's Youth Hostel. The Siniffik Inn is located in Qaqortoq which is a beautiful town of Greenland. Presently Qaqortoq is the South Greenland's biggest town. The Siniffik Inn which is the Youth hostel has 26 total beds. In winter season this Inn becomes a fitness Center and during the summer season it gets transformed into a youth hostel. The youth hostel provides accommodation to the tourists with shared facilities. Smoking and drinking is totally prohibited in this youth hostel.
The Greenland Ponds Youth Program was organized by Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) in the year 2006. The VOC Youth Program was charged up by visiting Greenland and doing the renovation work which was set up by the volunteers of VOC in the year 2002. 1900 plants were planted by 60 youth volunteers. The removal of noxious weeds in 25 bags were also done by the VOC youth program.
The Greenland Volunteer Fire Department has organized a youth program. In the youth trainee program they are measuring the interest of the community. Only the Greenland men and women of an age level of 14 to 18 years who have done completion of 8th grade can attend this program. Life skills, hands on experience in fire service, etc. are taught in this program. The youth members have to meet once in every month for taking training.
Many suicide cases are found among the Inuit Youth during the year 1977-86 in Greenland.
