Greenland Holidays comprise mostly of Christian Festivals. Besides the regular Christian Festivals like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Holy Week, etc, there are some other holidays that represent the local spirit of the land.

Return of the Sun’ is also celebrated to commemorate the event when the Sun is again seen after the six months of continuous darkness.
The two most important holidays celebrated in Greenland are Christmas, on 25th December, and New Year's Day on 1st January. Christmas Eve on 24th December and New Year's Eve on 31st December are also popular occasions to celebrate among the Greenlanders.
People also celebrate Easter (April 8th), Easter Sunday (April 9th), etc with much enthusiasm. Holy Week is celebrated from before Good Friday(April 6th0 till Easter Sunday.
