Greek scientists have influenced the thoughts and wisdom of Europe and the world since the ancient times. The ancient scientists of Greece have always held sway on the collective wisdom of the Europe. But currently the scientists in Greece are furthering the horizons of human knowledge on the cutting edge of technology and state of the art scientific research. At Greece, scientists are working on pollution control and nano-technology.

The scientific aptitude of the Greeks have always been phenomenal, on all walks of science they have left an indelible mark. It is almost impossible to discuss any natural or social science without mentioning prominently the contributions of the Greek scientists of the golden era or the Byzantine epoch.

Philosophers like Aristotle and Archimedes, mathematicians like Pythagoras and Euclid have contributed heavily and often pioneered many branches of knowledge.
