The Technical Vocational Schools in Greece or the TEEs are controlled by the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs. Some of the TEEs are also supervised by the Greek Manpower Employment Organization. Technical vocational education lasts for three years. They constitute two independent cycles covering specific fields and specializations. Cycle 1 lasts for two years and cycle 2 lasts for one year. Workers who are above 50 years can attend an evening TEE to hone up their skills and improve their job prospects.
The educational curricula of the Technical Vocational Schools are designed in such a way so as to offer specialization in a particular stream.
