Primary Education in Greece is to be conducive to the full-fledged, proportionate and balanced growth of the students' mind, brain and psychosomatic modules, thus facilitating the revealing prospects of their personalities irrespective of sex or origin.
The Primary Education classes in Greece attend to their students more personally since this is a tender age to be moulded and guided in a proper way.

Greek Primary Education is proffered by Primary schools and Kindergartens. Kindergartens are minor sections of the centres, and operate together with the Nursery centres of the State. Attending these Primary Schools and the Secondary Schools are under compulsion until the age of 16 of the student. The guardian of the child if neglects his/her admission in school or keep a record of his/her attendance is liable to punishment according to the Criminal Code entailing Article 458.
