Valero Texas Open
The Valero Texas Open is an annual event on the US PGA Tour since its inception in 1922 as the Texas Open. Over the years, it has been played at a number of courses and is being played at the LaCantera Golf Club since 1995.

The 2005 $3,500,000 Valero Texas Open was won by Robert Gamez by three strokes over Olin Browne. He received a cheque of $630,000 for his efforts.
Tournament schedule and tickets
Valero Texas Open will be next held from 18-25 September, 2006. Daily tickets are available at the gates for $20. If you want to purchase it beforehand it will cost you only $15.
Valero Texas Open is one of the small tournaments of the US PGA Tour. As we continue on this tour we will learn about the other tournaments in the US PGA Tour.
