Shell Houston Open
Born as the Houston Open in 1946, the Shell Houston Open is a regular golf tournament in the US PGA Tour. It is played at the Redstone Golf Club in Humble, Texas in March every year. The tournament was played at various courses before starting its association with the Redstone Golf Club in 2003. It was also christened a number of times.

The 2006 Shell Houston Open had a total prize money of $5,500,000 with the winner getting a cheque of $990,000. Stuart Appleby picked it up by beating Bob Ester by six strokes.

The 2007 edition of the Shell Houston Open will be held from 26 March-1 April.
