Nissan Open
Held at the par-71 Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California , the Nissan Open is an annual event in the US PGA Tour. The inaugural event was played at the Los Angeles Country Club in Los Angeles , California in 1926 and since has been played at a number of courses. It began its association with the Riviera Country Club from 1973. The tournament was known by many other names in its 80-year history.

Rory Sabbatini won his third title in the US PGA Tour at the 2006 Nissan Open taking home $918,000 in prize money. Craig Barlow and Fred Couples came in second and third respectively in the $5,100,000 tournament.
Tournament schedule and tickets
The 2007 Nissan Open will be held from 12-18 February with match play beginning from 15 February. Tickets are priced at $25 for adults during match days. There is some good news for citizens above the age of 55 as they will get the tickets at a discounted rate of $25. If you are below 17 you will be charged only $15.
The Nissan Open is the seventh tournament in the US PGA Tour calendar. It is one of the oldest tournaments in the PGA history. As we continue on this tour we will learn about the other tournaments in the US PGA Tour.
