Cialis Western Open
Founded in 1899, the Cialis Western Open is the second oldest tournament in the US after the US Open. It has been a regular stop in the US PGA Tour roster. The tournament had a nomadic existence till 1962 when the event settled in the Chicago area. It has been played at different courses around the city with the par-71 Cog Hill Golf & Country Club being its home since 1991. Its name has also been changed many times in the process.

From 2007 the Cialis Western Open will be known as the BMW Championships. Trevor Immelman pocketed $900,000 after winning here in 2006. The purse for the tournament was $5,000,000.
Tournament schedule and tickets
In 2006, the Cialis Western Open was held from 3-9 July. With the restructuring of the US PGA Tour the tournament will now be held in the weekend following the Labour Day.
