Buick Championship
The Buick Championship is being played at the par-70 TPC at River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut since 1991. Before that the tournament was held at different other courses. The tournament was founded in 1958 and was originally called the Insurance City Open.

The 2006 Buick Championship had total prize money of $4,400,000 with $792,000 going to the winner. JJ Henry won in 2006, capturing his first US PGA Tour title in the process, beating Hunter Mahan and Ryan Moore by three strokes.
Tournament schedule and tickets
In 2006, the Buick Championship was held from 29 June-2 July. The schedule for the 2007 edition is still not finalized.
