BC Open presented by Turning Stone Resort
The BC Open presented by Turning Stone Resort will cease to be a member of the US PGA Tour from 2007. It had featured annually in the US PGA Tour schedule since its inception in 1971. As it was held in the same week as the British Open the top golfers have always given it a miss. It was one of the smaller events on the Tour and is likely to shift to the Champions Tour or Nationwide Tour.
The tournament was played at the En-Jonie Golf Course in Endicott, New York till 2005 but due to severe flooding the event was shifted to the par-72 Atunyote Golf Club at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York .
The tournament was first christened as the Broome County Open and was chaged only twice over the years.
