Bay Hill Invitational
Held at Arnold Palmer's private golf resort in Orlando, Florida , the Bay Hill Invitational is an annual event in the US PGA Tour. The par-72 Bay Hill Club and Lodge, which was revamped in 1990, has been home to this event since 1979 when it was founded as a successor to the Florida Citrus Open Invitational. From 2007, the championship will be known as Arnold Palmer Invitational undergoing a number of name changes since its birth.

The total prize money for the Bay Hill Invitational 2006 was $5,500,000 with $990,000 going to the winner. Rod Pampling was the winner beating Greg Owen in the final day, winning his second career title on the PGA Tour.
Tournament schedule and tickets
The next edition of the Bay Hill Invitational will be held from 12-18 March. Daily tickets are priced at $40 if you buy them before 31 October, 2006. After that the prices will go up to $45. If you are in the age group from 11-17 years, you will have to pay $15 while those below the age of 10 are given free entry.
The Bay Hill Invitational is the 12th tournament in the US PGA Tour calendar. You will witness the best golfers in action as they compete against each other for the “sword”. As we continue on this tour we will learn about the other tournaments in the US PGA Tour.
