The
Xerox Classic is only two years old. It was started in 2005 with the Irondequoit Country Club in Rochester, New York being the host club. Since the beginning, it has been incorporated into the Nationwide Tour.
Kevin Stadler was crowned the champion at the 2006
Xerox Classic. He was trailing Glen Day by two strokes while going into the final round. But he displayed a superb round of golf and snatched away the victory by a a margin of one stroke only. The tournament, held in mid-August, had a total prize purse of $ 575,000, of which the winner’s share was $ 103,500.
