The Price Cutter Charity Championship is one of the tournaments which have been part of the Nationwide Tour since 1990. The meet was started in the same year the tour was born. It is annually played at the Highlands Springs Country Club in Springfield, Missouri towards the end of July. The tournament is played in the strokeplay format with a cut off mark after the second round. Initially it was known as the Ben Hogan Greater Ozarks Open but after many name changes it came to be known by its present name in 2002.

Doug LaBelle II was crowned the winner at the 2006 Price Cutter Charity Championship. He defeated Nick Flanagan by two strokes to also take the winner’s cheque of $ 100,080. The total prize purse was $ 556,000.
Past Winners
Chris DiMarco had won the Price Cutter Charity Championship in 1997. He later went on to make it big on the senior tour. Jeff Cook had won the inaugural meet in 1990. Here is a list of winners who have won here since it became part of the Nationwide Tour.
