The Legend Financial Group Classic Presented by Cynergies Solutions is one of those tournaments which have come up in the last few years. It was first played in 2005 at the Stone water Golf Course in Highland Heights, Ohio. It became a part of the Nationwide Tour from last year itself.
The 2006 Legend Financial Group Classic Presented by Cynergies Solutions saw Gavin Coles taking a narrow one-stroke victory over Bradley Hughes. An indifferent second round saw Hughes level the scores but he regained his composure to take the lead again. He received $90,000 for his efforts. The tournament was held in the first week of September and had a prize purse of $ 500,000.
