Henrico County Open Pres'd by Saxon Capital, Inc.

Since 1993, when the Henrico County Open Pres'd by Saxon Capital, Inc. was first played, it has been part of the Nationwide Tour. The tournament was started off under the name NIKE Dominion Open. After many name changes over the years, it came to be known by its present name from last year. Played in the month of May, the tournament is played annually at the Dominion Club in Richmond, Virginia. The 2007 Henrico County Open will be held from 18-21 May.There is a cut off mark after two rounds from where the top 70 golfers, out of 132, advance. Matt Kuchar won the 2006 Henrico County Open Pres'd by Saxon Capital, Inc. in a playoff against Paul Claxton. Initially Kuchar was leading but Claxton played a great final round to level the scores but ultimately the former prevailed. The tournament had a total prize purse of $ 450,000 out of which Kuchar got $ 81,000.
