The Mitchell Company Tournament of Champions Presented by Kathy Ireland is open to a limited number of golfers. Only Hall of Famers and winners on the LPGA Tour during the past four years are invited to play. The first edition was held in 1994 and since then it has been a part of the tour. The meet has not been played on any particular course over the years. Due to sponsorship deals, its name has been changed a number of times. Here is a list of names by which it was known.

The Mitchell Company Tournament of Champions Presented by Kathy Ireland was won by Lorena Ochoa in 2006. She defeated Juli Inkster by a whooping 10 strokes. She won $150,000 for her efforts. The tournament, with a prize fund of $ 1 million, was held in the second week of November.
