Honda LPGA Thailand

The Honda LPGA Thailand, started this year, is part of the LPGA Tour's program to expand in Asia. This is one of the tournaments which have come up in the last few years. The Amata Spring Country Club in Thailand was the venue for the inaugural event.

Hee-Won Han clinched the 2006 Honda LPGA Thailand with an easy five-stroke victory over Diana D'Alessio. The tournament was played over 54 holes and the total prize money was $ 1.3 million. As the winner Han received $ 195,000. The meet was held towards the end of October.
