The Enjoy Jakarta HSBC Indonesia Open is only two years old and has been a part of both the European Tour and the Asian Tour. It was established by the European Tour in accordance to their plan of expanding more in Asia. The tournament has two sponsors making it one of a kind. The local tourism authority is one of them while the other is a commercial banking company. It is held at the Emerald Golf and Country Club in the first week of March. The tournament was originally called Enjoy Jakarta Standard Chartered Indonesia Open but its name had to be changed due to change of sponsors.
Englishman Simon Dyson won the Enjoy Jakarta HSBC Indonesia Open beating Andrew Buckle of Australia by two strokes. He received the winner's cheque of €1,40,262.
