The Commercialbank Qatar Masters is one of the smallest tournaments on the European Tour . It is played at the Doha Golf Club and is one of the three golf tournaments that take place in the Middle East. It was first played in 1998 and since last year has also become part of the Asian Tour.
The total prize purse for the 2006 Commercialbank Qatar Masters was € 1.1 million. Henrik Stenson won by three strokes over Paul Broadhurst and received €2,75,456 for his efforts.
