The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is played over three links courses of Scotland with the last round being played at the historic St Andrew's Old Course . The other two courses are the Kingsbarn and Carnoustie courses. It is one of the richest meets on the European Tour . The tournament came into existence in 2001 when it replaced the Dunhill Links Championship.
