The Aa St Omer Open is an annual feature on the European Tour calendar. It is held at the Aa St Omer Golf Club in France during the month of July.The 2007 Aa St. Omer Open will be held in 14- 17 June. The tournament was first played in 2000 but it was then only part of the Challenge Tour. From 2003, the tournament became an official money event on both these tours. The tournament, however, fails to attract the top players as it I held in the same week as the US Open , one of the four major tournaments.
The total prize for the 2006 Aa St Omer Open was €400,000. Cesar Monasterio of Argentina won the meet, defeating South African Martin Maritz by one stroke only. In the process he won €66,660 in prize money. The next edition of the Aa St Omer Open will be held from 14-17 July, 2007 at the same venue.
