The Administaff Small Business Classic is a relatively new tournament on the Champions Tour roster. It started three years back in 2004 and was then known as the Administaff Small Business Classic presented by KBR. From 2005, it came to be known by its present name. All the golfers above the age of 50 are invited to play here.
The Augusta Pines Golf Course had hosted the 2006 Administaff Small Business Classic in October. Jay Haas had a comfortable five-stroke victory to take the winner's cheque of $240,000. Bruce Leitzke and Tom Purtzer were tied for the second spot. The total prize money was of $ 1.6 million.
