Golf schools in China

China is fast becoming a golfing destination for top golfers. In recent years all top golfers, including Tiger Woods, have played here. The European Tour is also committed to promoting golf in this region. A number of tournaments on this tour are held in China. As the game is booming in China, golf courses are coming up by the dozens. Presently there are more than 200 golf courses in China.

Legendary golfers like Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player, who all have a fledging career in golf course designing, have designed various courses here. In fact China boasts of the largest golf club, the Mission Hills Golf Club. The club has 10 full length golf courses which are named after leading golfers like Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player.

However, not many golf schools have come up in China. As a result, those interested in the game have to travel abroad to learn it. Recently Player has opened a school in this country. It is called The Gary Player Golf Academy. Here training is given to golfers of all ages. The module is different for the different age groups. With time, more golf schools will also come up.

Golf schools are highly essential in the modern days to learn the basic of the game. This is the reason why many accomplished golfers are opening academies to share their expertise with wannabe golfers.
