Texas is the second largest state in the United States of America, on the basis of both area and population. Texas, located in the southern and southwestern parts of the USA is also the second largest economy of the country. In the Caddoan language, the meaning of “Texas” is “Friend”. The landscape of the state ranges from the high rocky mountains to the white sand beaches. Texas is one of the prime tourist destinations of the United States of America.
