World Woods Golf Club
The Pine Barrens Course is the signature course of the World Woods Golf Course . The club, located in Brooksville, Florida, has another 18-hole course as well as a nine-hole course.
History of the course
The World Woods Golf Club was formed in 1991. Tom Fazio has designed all the three courses at this facility, of which the Pine Barren Course is the best. The course has a tight, intimidating layout and is so named because of the large number of pine trees and barren waste areas. The native terrain as well as the design makes a perfect blend visually.
As a large part of the course is wasteland, you will have to drive the ball very hard in order to avoid them. Trees are lined along the fairway on either side and not on both sides at a stretch. The course also has two lakes.
