Somerset Hills
The Somerset Hills Golf Course is a very natural course with nothing extra-ordinary about it. It is located in Bernardsville,New Jersey .
History of the course
AW Tillinghast was the creator of the Somerset Hills Golf Course . The main basis for him while building the course was variety. Here the terrain was of number of types and he coupled with it by making the lengths of holes different from each other. The greens are also of different types. The front nine holes are laid around an old racing track while the back nine holes meander their way through the rolling wooded terrain. A stream and a pond are also present on this side leaving the members divided about which part of the course they would prefer playing.
