Ocean Forest
Located in Sea Island,Georgia, the Ocean Forest Golf Course closely resembles the links courses of Scotland.
History of the course
The Ocean Forest Golf Course was designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead in 1995. The land used for building the course resembles the seaside link courses. The front nine holes are more traditional while the back nine resembles a links course. While laying the course, Jones and Muirhead routed some holes along the Hampton River and the finishing holes on the Atlantic Ocean. The vast saltwater marshes and sand dunes the course is going to bring the best out of you. The wind also plays a major factor and influences your shot making.
