Naruo
Located in Kansai, near Osaka, the Naruo Golf Club is one of the oldest clubs in Japan.
History of the course
The Naruo Golf Club was opened in 1920 but the course came into prominence in 1931 when famous golf course architect CH Alison redesigned the course. During that period, Alison, worked on more than half a dozen courses in Japan and Naruo was one of them.
The greens are round, small and elevated with asymmetrical shaped bunkers surrounding it. The roughs can tangle your shot if you are unfortunate to land on them. The par-three holes are the most memorable.

The Naruo Golf Club is deeply stooped in tradition. The club has 700 members whose average age is 71.
