History of the course
Designed by Charles H Alison, the Fuji Course at Kawana was opened for play in 1936. The course was laid on a ripped high peninsula beyond the hot springs of Izu. The course offers a brilliant view of the Pacific Ocean from the cliff tops. The fairways are sunken and the woodlands surround the greens. Mount Fuji, at the background of the course, will captivate you and make you return here every year.

- The green fee at the Fuji Course is the highest in Japan, with a round of golf costing $300.
