Baltimore (Five Farms East)
The Baltimore Country Club , located in Timonium, Maryland, has two courses: the West Course and the famous Five Farms East Course .
History of the course
The Five Farms East Course at the Baltimore Country Club , founded in 1898, was designed by AW Tillinghast in 1926. The course is so named as it is built on a farmland. It is designed in a traditional format with the fairways varying in width and lined with trees. The water hazards, in the form of lakes and creeks, come into play on three holes. The course was renovated some time back. Some of the trees were removed, some bunkers were restored and repositioned and the tee points of some of the holes were shifted.
