History of the Course:
The Villa d'Este Golf Club is located on the banks of the scenic Lake Montorfano, south of Como, in the Lombardia region of Italy. The magnificent 18-hole golf course is subtly crafted amidst the dense forests of pine, chestnut, birch and ash trees.
The Villa d'Este Golf Course was designed by English golf architect, Peter Gannon in 1926. The beautiful course consists of a parkland style layout.
The 5,727 metres, par 69 Championship course of the Villa d'Este Golf Club layout consists of 18 unique holes winding their way through the woodlands. With vast rolling greens, tree-lined fairways bounded with craftily positioned bunkers; along with the roughs, sloping terrain and the natural undergrowth of the woody region, together form a difficult and challenging golf experience to all levels of golfers.
The grand Clubhouse of the Villa d'Este Golf Club, besides offering various facilities like restaurant, bar and pro-shop, also provides breath-taking views of the course and its surrounding natural environment, while gazing away at the pristine shimmering waters of the scenic lake.

Although most of its holes are short, being a par 69 course, but when compared to other championship courses, the difficulty levels on this course regard it highly.
