History of the Course:
The Utrechtse Golf Club de Pan is located in the picturesque Bosch en Duin region, near the lively city of Utrecht, close to Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. The scenic 18-hole course is subtly crafted amidst the wooded-heathland region, surrounded by stands of chestnut, pine, birch, oak and acacia.
The Utrechtse Golf Club 'De Pan' was established in 1894, with its course being designed by renowned architect, Harry S Colt. The masterpiece 18-hole course is a classic English parkland-heathland style course.
The 6,082 metres, par 72 course of the Utrechtse 'De Pan' Golf Club has a fabulous inland layout on a gently undulating terrain. The layout consists of well-manicured greens; few elevated tee areas; vast rolling tree-lined fairways; creative sand bunkers, water hazards, along with the natural rough and heath vegetation surrounding the course.
Overall this course offers a decent challenge to all standards of golfers and along with its tranquil forest settings on this course, a wonderful golfing experience can be sought here amongst the shady and serene woods.
The Clubhouse of the Utrechtse 'De Pan' Golf Club, with its unique dipping thatched roof, offers various services including bar and restaurant facilities as well as magnificent views overlooking the course and the forest beyond.
