History of the Course:
The Seddiner See Golf & Country Club is located in the picturesque woodlands of Wildenbruch, in the Berlin-Brandenburg region of Germany . The course is easily accessible by the autobahn and very near to the bustling capital city of Berlin .
The Seddiner See Golf & Country Club was established in 1994, and presently offers 36-holes of enthralling golf through its 18-hole par 72, North and South Courses.
Both the of the Seddiner See Golf & Country Club are superbly crafted amidst the dense gently undulating woodland terrain, surrounded by several stands of trees, numerous lakes, native vegetation, that all form a complete concord of a golf course amidst nature, as well as a spectacular location for inland golf.
The North Course of the Seddiner See Golf & Country Club was designed in 1996, by architect Rainer Preißmann in a classic English parkland style layout. The course comprises of a strategic layout making subtle use of the parkland landscape.
The more famous South Course of the Seddiner See Golf & Country Club was designed in 1997, by world renowned golf architect, Robert Trent Jones jr. This masterpiece course is a typical American style layout, superbly blending the natural contours of the terrain into the course features. The well-manicured course consists of vast naturally-contoured greens, rolling tree-lined fairways, strategically positioned bunkers, abundant water hazards and the native underbrush, making it a formidable challenge.
