The Noordwijkse Golf Club is a wonderful links style golf course on the Dutch coastline, and is amongst Netherlands finest courses.
History of the Course:
The Noordwijkse Golf Club is located on the beach lands of the seaside town of Noordwijk, in the Zuid Holland region of Netherlands. Situated very near to the North Sea, and subtly crafted amidst the sandy dunelands and pine forests, the course oozes natural scenic beauty.
The Noordwijkse Golf Club was founded way back in 1915, but its new, 18 hole seaside course was formed in 1972, designed by architect Frank Pennink. The present course forms an exquisite links style golf site.
The 6432 yards, par 72 , Noordwijkse Golf Course layout consists of a splendid course set amidst the rolling sand dune terrain, while the holes weave their way through the dunes and pine trees of the natural forest settings, offering variety.
With well maintained greens and roughs, vast undulating fairways spread with the typical links style bunkering, natural slopes and complete with the strong North Sea winds, the course forms a formidable links challenge to all levels of golfers.
The Clubhouse of the Noordwijkse Golf Club is a unique black and white architectural creation situated on a bluff, overlooking the entire course offering magnificent views.

- The Noordwijkse Golf Club has been host to various golfing events including Volvo tour tournaments and the famous, Dutch Open on 7 occasions.
- The Noordwijkse Golf Club holes are unique; with some holes being played in the open while the rest are within the pine forest layout, from the 13 th hole onwards the seaside layout tests the golfer.
