National Golf Club -Turkey
History of the Course:
The National Golf Club is located in the scenic region of Belek Turizm Merkezi, in Antalya, Turkey. The fabulous 18-hole championship course is subtly located amidst the wooded region through pine and eucalyptus forest, on a slightly undulating terrain, with the majestic snow-capped Taurus Mountains forming a picturesque backdrop.
The National Golf Club was recently designed towards late 1994 and was designed by architect David Feherty, under the consultancy of David Jones. The National Golf Club currently consists of a superb 18-hole championship course as well as a 9-hole, par 29 Academy course in a wooded parkland style layout.
The 6,279 metres, par 72 Championship Course of the National Golf Club has its 18-holes winding through the old woodland forest, passing natural lakes and streams and native vegetation. The well-maintained course layout consists of carpet greens that are quick; wide rolling tree-lined fairways; cleverly positioned numerous white sand bunkers; ample water hazards and the natural shrubs and foliage. These features together combine to form an overall challenging championship course layout, suitable for all standards of golfers.
The grand Clubhouse of the National Golf Club has been constructed in British architectural theme, and offers various services such as fine dining and cuisine through its Meridiana restaurant and a relaxation zone at its Park Café, that sits beside the 18th hole, overlooking the lake. Golfers can enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful course amidst the charming parkland landscape.
