The 6,198 metres, par 72 course of the Murhof Steiermarkischer Golf Club is a classic English parkland style course. The greens are well-conditioned and gently sloping, with a variety of some being large, bumpy, or small; narrow tree-lined rolling fairways; numerous craftily positioned sand bunkers, roughs areas, native park-vegetation and a few water hazards through ponds and streams on the course.
The course underwent a fairways irrigation program, which has enhanced the playing conditions on the course and makes it playable even in the dry summers.
Overall this course offers a formidable challenge to all levels of golfers including test one’s accuracy and golf skills. A course to be enjoyed between early spring and late autumn, the tranquil surroundings make this a wonderful golfing experience.
