Milano Golf Club - Italy
The Milano Golf Club is a classic parkland style course and ranks amongst the top golf courses of Italy.
History of the Course:
The Milano Golf Club is located amidst the dense wooded parkland area in Viale Mulini San Giorgio, in the Parco di Monza region, near Milan, in Lombardia, Italy.
The prestigious Milano Golf Club was established in 1927, and presently boasts 27-holes of exciting golf. The club consists of a fabulous 18-hole stunning inland course and also a 9-hole course, subtly crafted amongst the dense forests of mature birch and oak trees.
The 18-hole course of the Milano Golf Club was designed by architects Peter Gannon and Cecil Blandford, created in an English-style parkland layout. The 6,083 metres, par 72 course winds its way through the forest on a flat terrain. With well-maintained quick greens, wide lawn-like fairways bordered by the ancient trees, cleverly-situated bunkers, shrubs and natural forest undergrowth, all combine to provide an overall challenging golfing experience.
The 9-hole course of the Milano Golf Club was created in 1958, by Italian architects Vietti and Buzzi. The 2,976 metres, par 36 course also provides exciting golf and together with the 18-hole course, makes the Milano Golf Club one of Italy's finest courses.
The Clubhouse of the Milano Golf Club offers various services, including fantastic famous cuisine through its restaurant, and also brilliant views of the natural parkland surroundings.
