History of the Course:
The Geneva Golf Club is located amongst the rural settings of the Cologny region, overlooking the pristine waters of Lake Geneva, on the outskirts of Geneva city, in Switzerland .
The magnificent 18-hole course is subtly crafted amidst the slightly hilly and undulating landscape, surrounded by stands of trees, small ponds, natural vegetation, making it a superb venue for golf amidst natural beauty.
The Geneva Golf Club was opened for play in 1972, with its course being designed by world acclaimed golf architect, Robert Trent Jones Sr. The masterpiece course is crafted in a traditional mixed parkland style layout.
The 6,150 metres, par 72 course of the Geneva Golf Club is built on a sloping terrain, and consists of a well-conditioned course layout. The sloping greens, undulating tree-lined fairways, crafty bunkering, ample water-hazards, shrubs and bushes of the park vegetation, all combine to make this course a daunting challenge for all levels of golfers, and an overall wonderful golfing experience.
The exclusive Clubhouse of the Geneva Golf Club offers various services including restaurant, bar facilities, as well as spectacular views of the course, whilst day-dreaming by the shimmering waters of the lake.
