The Vines Golf Club in Perth is a picturesque resort golf course set in the tranquil Swan Valley, and is one of the premier golf courses of Western Australia.

History of the Course:

The Vines Golf Club is situated at the foothills of the Darling Ranges and is merged with the breathtaking beauty of the vineyards of Swan Valley. It comprises of two well designed and challenging, 18 hole championship courses, namely- its Lakes and Ellenbrook courses.The par 72 course of the Vines Golf Club consists of a championship course created amidst native Australian bushland. The course layout consists of raised greens, vast undulating fairways, bunkers and water hazards, along with the natural slopes, grassy hollows and troughs made more distinct by the natural Swan Valley terrain.The Vines Golf Club along with its Vines-"Composite" course was established in 1989; it was designed by the team of renowned architects Graham Marsh & Ross Watson.

Overall, an excellent course, with a fine blend of peace and solitude felt within the tranquility of Swan Valley; all for that satisfying golfing experience, amongst natural beauty! Some of the world's golfing greats that have played at the Vines Golf Club include Greg Norman, Gary Player and Els, Langer and Campbell of the Heineken Classic days. The Clubhouse of the Vines Golf Club provides various services to its members along with excellent views of the picturesque Swan Valley and its beautiful golf course, while sipping on local wine. They also provide a bar and fine dining at its award-winning restaurant hotel, The Novotel- truly making this a grand golf outing!

  • Swan Valley is the oldest wine growing region of Western Australia, with more than 30 wineries; its rich heritage and history dating back to settlement period, along with arts and crafts, historic buildings, that blend well with today's numerous restaurants and the finest wine produce in Western Australia.
  • The Vines Golf Club has been host to various golf events and tournaments including the Vines/Heineken Classic (1993 - 2001) and recently the Johnnie Walker Classic (2006).
  • The Vines Golf Club also houses the Mark Tibbles International Golf Academy, which have well developed practice ranges and offer golf training programs as well.
