History of the Course:
The Horsham Golf Club is situated in the picturesque countryside of the Horsham region of Victoria, which lies beside the banks of the Wimmera River. This city is also regarded as a famous tourist destination.
The Horsham Golf Course was designed by golf architect Sam Berriman in 1949.
The par 71, 18 hole Horsham Golf Club consists of a beautifully crafted course amidst a glazed natural sand belt region. The layout of the course consists of well maintained fairways lined with rows of trees, smooth and fast greens, numerous well-placed bunkers merged with the natural slopes of the sand dunes course.
The Horsham Course provides a serious challenge to all standards of golfers with its gently undulating sandbelt terrain, along with a wonderful golfing experience.
The Horsham Golf Club also consists of a new Clubhouse that is equipped with latest equipment and offers various services and facilities to guests including conference centres, wedding receptions, lounge bar, pro-shops and restaurants. It also serves as a place for relaxation after a tiring day of golf besides providing a panoramic view of the beautiful course.

- The Horsham Golf Club is situated near the beautiful Grampians National Park of Horsham and provides a must stop for touring golf enthusiasts.
- The Horsham Golf Club has been host to various golf events and tournaments over the years, including events like the Ivo Whitton Amateur Championship, Mazda Fourball and Holden Scramble.
- The Horsham Golf club has received the title of best PGA course of Victoria, for four years as well as an award from the pro-am circuit for being the best country golf course in Victoria’s golfing circuit.
- The Horsham Golf Course is famous for its par 3’s, but its also consists of other challenges like its opening hole; an instant par 4 challenge dotted with bunkers and fairways lined with trees, that cause a bad score to start with!
The Horsham Golf Club is a semi-private golf course however limited opportunities do exist for non-members to play also.
As per Australian Top 100 Golf Courses (2006 rankings), Horsham Golf Club has been ranked as No. 64.
