Left Handed Golf Club
Golf has been played by people around the world since the fifteenth century. With the passage of time, it has gained the status of a global and professional sport in the nineteenth century. Both right-handed and left-handed golfers play the game all over the world. However, the left-handed players are largely outnumbered by their right-handed counterparts. A main reasons behind this is that event some years earlier, golf clubs were not made for the left-handed players and many left-handed players played golf right-handed. Scarcity of left-handed instructor and instruction material has also played an important role behind this lack of left-handed golfers. For a long period of time, golf was considered to be the game for only right-handed people.
In recent past, many left-handed golfers have become famous for their achievements in the international level. Now, there are many right-handed people, who prefer to play golf left-handed. Some of the famous left-handed golfers are Nick O'Hern, Mike Weir, Bob Charles, Chris Gane, Phil Mickelson, Ben Hogan, Kevin Wentworth, Russ Cochran and Bonny Bryant.
Various companies like Nike, Callaway, Northwestern, Wilson, Tommy Armour, Taylor Made, Srixon, Cobra, Titleist, Mizuno, MacGregor, John Letters, Founders Club, Adams, Cleveland, Ping, Precise, Odyssey and Tour Edge have been manufacturing left-handed golf clubs. The features of these golf clubs are same as the right-handed golf clubs. The only difference is that, these left-handed golf clubs have the club face on the right side of the club head. Some clubs also have faces one both sides of the club heads. These clubs can be used by both the right-handed and left-handed golfers.
