Golf Club Distance
The club set used by a golfer includes fourteen clubs. The clubs are used for making different shots during a golf match. The distance traveled by the golf ball depends on various factors like the club used for shot making, the loft and flexibility of the club, the type of golf ball, the weather condition, age, gender and physical fitness of the player and of course, the accuracy of the shot.
The distance made by a golf ball differs from player to player. For this reason, there is no standard distance, which must be traversed by a golf ball hit by a particular club. However, one can always assume the distance covered by a ball, which is hit by a specific club. The following table shows the average distances covered by a golf ball while hit with various clubs.
