Breed 77 is a popular music band of Gibraltar. The music of Breed 77 is an excellent blend of metal, rock and flamenco. The members of the rock band Breed 77 of Gibraltar are actually a group of old friends who had met in London and were informally known by the name of Gibraltarian Mafia.
Theses friends then decided to form a music band. The name Breed 77 was kept as the name of the band because the members of the band wanted such a name that would reflect their origins jointly. In the beginning the band came to be known as Breed. But this name was registered beforehand so ultimately the name became as Breed 77.
The members of the band Breed 77 are Stuart Cavilla, Paul Isola and Danny Felice. The band in Gibraltar Breed 77 has also received many awards and in the year 1998, the band was rated as the "Best Unsigned Band" by the readers of Kerrang! which is a weekly magazine published in the United Kingdom.
In the year 1999, the band was acclaimed as the best newcomer band receiving the awards of Kerrang! and Metal Hammer which is a magazine published in some of the countries of Europe. The debut album of the band was released in the year 2001 and it was self titled. The band has released many albums thereafter and all of them gave gained much popularity.
