Federal Investigation Bureau
This is Germany's national investigative agency that coordinates law enforcement in assistance with criminal investigation bureaux of the distinctive Germany states.
Federal Police
German Federal Border Guard was renamed in May 2005 from ‘Bundesgrenzschutz' to Bundespolizei or Federal Police . The organization's primary tasks includes protection of the country's gateways comprises of airports and rails and borders.
GSG 9
It is a special unit of federal police that has been created to fight against criminal events, murders and structured crimes.
State police
In Germany state police are known as Landespolizei. Each of the German states has their own police forces. The German states are accountable for managing the big size of state police forces of Germany.
Local police
Since 1945, many local and city police forces have been recruited in Germany, like, the Munich Police Force. It was combined with the Landespolizei forces during the major reorganization of the German police in the middle of 70s.
Office of the public prosecutor
The responsibility of Staatsanwaltschaft or public prosecutor's office is to review the various investigations made by the police department investigations and managing criminal tribunals.
Conservation of human rights
In rare occasions common people of Germany also expresses some amount of dissatisfaction against the Police services of Germany, but that is the integral part of any country. Overall German Police are quite cooperative and respective to its people.
